The Document Importer allows content administrators to quickly and easily import a document folder from their computers file system directly into a WorkSite workspace folder. Typical import processes first import documents into WorkSite's flat-space and then require complex mapping to be setup for meta data assignment and workspace folder association. The Document Importer greatly reduces the time and effort required by allowing administrators to select a workspace folder directly, asign some basic meta data, and select the file system folder of the documents to be imported; it's that simple.
